The couples are on the last day of their retreat. Taylor tells Meka how Michael keeps defending Brandon who left for work but didn’t explain this to Taylor. Meka also needs Michael to commit to her. She thinks he is not trying to make their marriage work.

Meka and Taylor head into the kitchen. Michael makes his way out of the kitchen and leaves to go to the car. He doesn’t say goodbye to the others. They are all a little surprised.

On their way home, Katie makes Derek stop the car to save a turtle. They put him in the car. Derek is surprised Katie made him stop the car.

Meka and Michael go apple picking on their way home. Things are still uncomfortable between them. After picking apples they sit to have a picnic but he doesn’t sit on the blanket. He also doesn’t offer her an option from the two sandwiches they brought. She thinks he is rude. She tells him it is clear he doesn’t want to work on their marriage. He continues to sway at flies and eat his pudding.

On their way home, Meka explains why she is mad. She also tells him she has been carrying the marriage and now it is his turn. He just says okay over and over.

Derek and Katie arrive at an inn. They are gifted keys to throw in the waters to symbolize their undying love. They sit to have wine. They talk about their marriage. She feels like they have had a rough run but this weekend they seemed to have hashed some things out. She tells him she isn’t sure what she is going to decide on decision day. He hopes she says yes. He thinks really thinks he could stay with her forever. They walk to the water and throw their keys in after talking about making sure they are both happy.

Katie and Derek set their turtle free because they are told he will die if he doesn’t eat food from nature.

At home, Meka tells Michael she isn’t dealing with him anymore. He tells her he apologizes for not speaking to her for the last 2 nights. But he was upset because when he found out about his uncle dying, she didn’t comfort him. He needed her to be tender and loving, supportive and she wasn’t.

Taylor meets with her friends and explains that Brandon left the retreat and got into a toff with the producers of the show. He said he wasn’t coming back to the show until he gets an apology. All of her friends feel he is very immature. She shares that they have been spending time without the cameras and things have been pretty good. She thinks she wants to try.

Austin meets with a friend to talk about Decision Day. Jessica and his only issue is his work schedule. He shares that Jessica has told him that she loves him. He felt it in that moment but he hasn’t said it because he wants to say it when he is ready in his time. His friend thinks that Austin overthinks things and that he needs to make a move before the big day.

Michael meets with his sister. They talk about Meka saying that Michael is not honest. He says he didn’t lie but didn’t share things about certain subjects that made him uncomfortable. She tells him to just share that he is uncomfortable and that would have opened up another conservation to help them gain trust and grow. She supports Michael in whatever he wants to do.

Derek meets with his family. He is pretty sure about Katie. But they do clash sometimes with their personalities. He also has a huge bucket list of things he wants to do. His dad believes that if they go into their marriage accepting one another then they have a good chance.

Jessica meets with her sister. She feels safe and comfortable with Austin and cannot imagine life without him. They aren’t perfect, they have had arguments, specifically about his work and the amount of travel. They also talk about how he hasn’t said I love you to her. It might be an issue on decision day.
