Married at First Sight Spoilers- Katie Conrad and Derek Split-up
It was revealed during the reunion episode of MAFS, that Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman ran into some problems during the course of their marriage off cameras. Katie complained about Derek working all the time and not communicating with her, but Derek says that he was trying the hardest in the relationship. It was revealed that he thought that Katie made it hard to fall in love with her.
During the same episode, viewers found out that the Nashville trip is where they decided that they would end things and seems to be the place where he found out that she cheated on him with her ex while the two were on a break. Although, Derek thinks that she had been hooking up with her ex behind his back even when the social experiment was happening.

It was later revealed after Derek and Katie addressed the idea of Katie seeing her ex during the social experiment, who the two individuals who met up after the show were. As both Katie and Zach Justice’s relationships with the people they were matched with did not work. They say they just wanted to meet up with each other because they did not get the opportunity to talk while on the show. Not long after meeting up with Zack, a guilty Katie messaged Mindy to inform her of the meet up that the two had.

It does not seem that the relationship has grown into anything else or if they decided to explore a relationship. It is possible that they were telling the truth, or they could have just come up with a cover story to tell others. What do you think?
