On the other hand, Derek received a DM from his ex-wife’s brother, or at least that is what the screengrab that was posted Reddit post shares. Derek also shared the Dm on his Instagram story.

In the chat, the user who may be the brother of Katie began to threaten Derek and wrote: “You’re a piece of shit wannabe. Enjoy your lifetime channel fame faggot. Better hope you don’t accidentally run into me someday.”

Derek did try to diffuse things by apologizing for Katie getting a lot of backlash. “Jesus dude. I literally did nothing. I’m sorry everything came out the way it did. Katie doesn’t deserve all the s**t she’s getting. But I’ve done nothing to make things worse for her. And seriously? If you want to fight, go ahead. I’ll keep walking the streets.”
