Married at First Sight Spoilers: Mindy Shiben says Zach Has Given Up On Their Marriage

Mindy Shiben is having a difficult time with her marriage as Zach Justice seems to have decided to end things without even trying.

Married at First Sight couple Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben has been having problems right from the start. Now Mindy says Zach has made up his mind to divorce her and isn’t even trying to keep their marriage going.

All along, controversy has reigned after Zach Justice admitted he didn’t find Mindy Shiben sexually attractive. Now, just as they are supposed to be moving in together, it looks like Zach is giving up on their marriage and has decided divorce is the final answer.

On the episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered of Wednesday night, a video clip was shown of Mindy chatting to the other brides at picnic. Mindy is heard to tell them Zach has decided not to move into their Washington, DC apartment provided by the show. Shiben is trying her best to make their marriage work and while she continues to try, Zach has given up on the story.

The host of Unfiltered, Jamie Otis, spoke to Mindy, asking her if she could view the situation from Zach’s perspective about the apartment in Washington, DC. Mindy admitted she was trying to see his side of things, but there is one thing she doesn’t get. That is why Zach hasn’t been clear about his decision not to move in together. Mindy said Zach basically told her he has no interest in trying to make the marriage work. She said she is in a “very frustrating place” right now.

Jamie wanted to get a male’s perspective on the problem and asked fellow Married at First Sight star Derek Sherman to give his thoughts on Zach saying moving in with Mindy would not be healthy. She asked if Derek thought that sounded like an excuse. Derek said, “to be honest” yes, it does.

Sherman went on to say that while it might seem “unhealthy” for the couple, things do need to get worse before they can get any better. He said “you need to throw yourselves in the pit together if you’re gonna get out of it together.”

Last week on Unfiltered, Zach had claimed Mindy had killed off any attraction he might have had for her after her alleged outburst during their honeymoon in Panama. This was after returning to their room one evening after dinner. It was at that point in the show Zach had admitted he had no attraction for Mindy, which he continues to do, making things difficult for the couple. He said the way she reacted put his walls up again.

Zach said Mindy had reportedly told him off-camera that she wanted to get a divorce. She allegedly said she wanted to see other people on the last night of the honeymoon. According to Zach, this is when Mindy brought up the idea of not moving into the apartment in Washington, DC.

Zach said he didn’t wish to move in with Mindy purely to put on a show on Married at First Sight. However, Mindy continues to say Zach just isn’t trying to make their marriage work. However, recent episodes have shown Zach making an effort with Mindy after his sister suggested he give her a fair chance.
