Tonight the couples will explore how they will fall in love and what that would look like. Miles and Karen are in the kitchen doing daily chores while Henry calls Christina and is sent to voicemail. Brett and Olivia’s cats woke them early so they are tired. Amelia heads to the store to get ginger. Bennett is sick and in bed.
Miles invites John, his friend, and a chef, to come over and teach him and Karen to cook. They get to learning in the kitchen. They make Caesar salad and seafood. Karen sips wine. She is happy. They sit to eat. Karen is impressed. She hopes he continues to act this way. She gives him an A++ for his efforts.
It is a night later after Christina and Henry’s fight. She hasn’t been home all day. She arrives at night after hanging and drinking with friends. She tells Henry she has something to confess. She has been off her medication for ADD. She thinks that might be why she has been moody and impatient. She hasn’t been taking it for a month and a half. Henry shares that he is not going to judge her. She shares that her mother is against all medication and that is why she went off of it.
Woody and Amani head to the salon to get mani/pedis. Woody enjoys some wine while they talk. Amani scares Woody when she says she plans to shave her head. She tells him she is joking. Amani is really happy to be able to do these things with her husband.
Amelia and Bennett are cleaning. He thanks her for taking care of him. They also share that they finally were intimate with one another and seem very happy.
All of the couples get an expert card delivered. The cards have the couples ask certain questions so they can hopefully help them move their relationship along. Amelia and Bennett talk about what it would look like if they fell in love. Bennett confesses he loves her but he isn’t in love with her yet.
Olivia and Brett are in bed reading their card. They talked about previously being in love and how they fell in love. Brett is too sarcastic for her. They don’t get far in their conversation, quietly disagreeing.
Henry and Christina talk about being in love. She recalls being in love, having no money, and still being happy. But she also sees how much of a rollercoaster ride her past relationships were. She can see why she was paired with Henry. She tells him she really likes him. He smiles.
Amani and Woody sit and color and talk about love. Woody names all of the things he does for those he loves. Amani tells him he has done a lot of those things for her. He admits he has a love for her. Amani tells him she definitely likes him and is working towards being in love. But she is scared. This bothers him.
Miles and Karen sit and read their card. They talk about love and what that would look like for them. Karen talks about needing more time and how they need to dig deeper. They get into Miles’ childhood and how his parents divorced. It was tough for him. He tried to please both his parents after that. Karen tells him he needs to not do that with them and burn himself out. She just needs to know he is there for her. He doesn’t need to cater to her.
Amelia and Bennett wake. She heads out to the living room. Her friends have come over. The ladies baked a cake last night and it looks just like Bennett. He spots it by accident. She tells him about a day of surprises she has for him. After confirming the fake is for him, she tells him they are going to go slackline. She gives him matching clothes.
Christina and Henry go golfing. They get along well. She learns quickly. They high five before sitting to have a drink. Henry reflects on a good day. Meanwhile, Bennett and Amelia are at the park. She is teaching him to walk a line between two trees. Bennett dies great. After, she surprises him with a picnic. They talk about the great day they had. She hangs a piñata after and Bennett tries to break it open blindfolded.
Olivia and Amani head to the zoo together. They talk about their husbands.
Olivia shares that she is waiting to get butterflies while Amani shares that she gets excited to see Woody every day. Amani shares that Woody comes home irritated by Brett after all the guys meet up because he talks like a politician. Amani feels for Olivia after she shares that she and Brett have a lot to work out in terms of big picture issues.
After Christina learned to golf, Henry brings her to salsa dance. Henry hopes he doesn’t embrace himself. The instructors try to get him to lead more. He hopes this will help build chemistry. Christina notices he becomes more confident.
Miles and Karen go grocery shopping. She tells him she isn’t used to men being so open with their emotions like he is. She needs to figure out how to deal and maintain this.
Olivia and Brett head out on a swamp tour. Brett doesn’t seem impressed and refers to their swamp tour as lame. Olivia isn’t happy with this, looking annoyed that he isn’t trying. After some time, Brett starts to have fun and act less sarcastic. They get to hold a baby alligator, a bullfrog, and more.
Bennett and Amelia cook while talking about who should do what chores. They decide to switch off weekly. They sit and eat, laughing over Bennett’s dirty socks.
Amani prepares dinner for Woody who is surprised and happy when he arrives. They sit and eat. He is happy. They joke about her yoga pants and how Woody is tempted. She thinks he would be tempted if she was in a burka. He thinks she says burger and starts making jokes.
Miles and Karen arrive home. She tells him grocery shopping is not a date. He has a question about intimacy. He knows she gets uncomfortable. She tells him she doesn’t get uncomfortable. He wants to know what here needs are. She doesn’t want to talk about it. They are not there yet. They will get there naturally. He pencils in sex on the calendar. She gets very annoyed
