There has been a lot of talk about Zach not finding Mindy attractive and now he’s blaming it on her getting nasty on their honeymoon.
A lot of controversy has gone on about Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben’s relationship on Married at First Sight. Zach has claimed he doesn’t feel sexually attracted to Mindy. Now he has opened on an episode of Unfiltered to explain why.
Mindy killed the attraction on the Panama honeymoon
On the episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered of February 19, Zach Justice opened up to Jamie Otis about his lack of attraction for Mindy Shiben. So far, we have heard Zach isn’t sexually attracted to Mindy, despite her beauty, but now Zach says there is more to it.
Zach told Jamie that his lack of attraction for Mindy isn’t just physical. He said she is beautiful, but there should be so much more for him than that. He then said on one night of their Panama honeymoon, Mindy suddenly switched and became “very nasty” to him. Zach believes that was what caused him to lose attraction for her.
Zach said it happened when they went back to their hotel room after dinner. He said it was like she “flipped a switch” and suddenly had a nasty tone with him. Zach said for him, the way she reacted to the situation was a huge turnoff for him and that his “walls definitely went up” after that. Zach then added that this kind of thing is when the attraction goes away, especially if you didn’t have it initially.
Mindy tried to turns things around
Zach did admit that Mindy tried to turn things around, as she was committed to their marriage. She ultimately did know what to do, but in the meantime, she had said many of the wrong things, which caused Zach to believe their marriage was a mess.
Of course, Zach has previously accused Mindy of being nasty off camera. He had said Mindy had told him off-camera that she wanted a divorce. Zach said she had said on the last night of their honeymoon that they should see other people. This is allegedly when she also brought up the subject of them not living together on their return to Washington, D.C.
Jamie asked Zach what made him decide not to move in with Mindy and he replied that things hadn’t ended well coming out of their honeymoon. He told Jamie Mindy had “a really tough response” when he was being honest with her about the lack of attraction and she said she wanted a divorce.
Jamie seemed shocked that Mindy wanted to divorce Zach, especially after viewers had seen her putting a lot of effort into their relationship. Mindy had said she really wanted the marriage to work out.
When Jamie asked him to clarify that Mindy said she wanted a divorce, Zach said, “Yeah,” adding that this was the same night of their honeymoon. He said the next day Mindy was talking about seeing other people, which he found alarming.
