When Was The Final Episode Of The Psych Series?
Ardent followers of the original Psych series followed it for eight years after it first aired on the USA Network on the 7th of July, 2006. Psych started showing on the network alongside season 5 of the popular Monk series.
After the final episode of the Monk series in 2009, Psych took over the slot and continued to delight viewers until the final episode of the eighth season was aired on the 26th of March, 2014.
Up till now, no concrete reason has been given by the USA Network executives on why the Psych series was canceled. There is speculation among fans on why the series ended abruptly on the Reddit platform. Before the show ended, it will be recalled that Steve Franks, the writer, executive producer, and creative director of the show posted a cryptic message on social media about all good things coming to an end.
The abrupt cancellation of the show ending left many fans of Psych devastated at the time.
