Sean Penn Slams FEMINIZED Men With ‘Cowardly Genes’

Sean PennSean Penn just gave an unofficial master class on how to offend more than half of the population. Slamming men who substitute jeans for skirts, the actor also spilled his views on what he sees as a dangerous trend in “feminized” men. Ironically, Penn’s comments took place during an interview that included his daughter.

Find out what Sean just shared about his views on men with “cowardly genes” below. Plus discover how his daughter reacted as her famous father proved he’s not as woke as she might hope!

Sean Penn Continues Slamming ‘Feminized’ Man

Previously, Sean Penn claimed that the male half of the United States has become “quite feminized.” And the actor used men donning traditionally female clothing as an example. “There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt,” stated Penn per TMZ. (Harry Styles and Kid Cudi both sported skirts during photo shoots and performances last year. But the actor held back from referring to either specifically).

Despite not slamming any specific men, Sean faced a backlash in the wake of those remarks. Some celebrities respond to such backlashes by walking back their statements, apologizing, or insisting that they had gotten misquoted. But mysteriously, the usually publicity-savvy star of “Mystic River” doubled down on his anti-politically correct remarks instead.

In a second interview, Penn offered up his own definition of masculinity. “I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized. I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did,” added Sean.

Sean Penn’s Daughter Reacts To Famous Dad’s Remarks

Recently, the actor’s new movie, “Flag Day,” included his daughter Dylan, who he directed. And Sean claimed that his offspring does not view masculinity as oppressive. But a recent interview in which Penn offered up more anti-PC comments showed that Dylan might not agree with her father, reported Variety

As Sean discussed his views on men wearing skirts, Dylan stared into space and became completely silent, reported the interviewer. We’re putting that in the category of “please be quiet, dad!” But Penn didn’t seem to take her hint.

“I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized. I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them,” added the actor. “But, I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.”

Aside from those remarks, Sean and Dylan Penn continue their efforts to hype their movie, “Flag Day.” The film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival last May. Thus far, the drama reportedly has taken in less than $900K at the worldwide box office.
