What We Know So Far About “The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special”
Fans of “Guardians of the Galaxy” know how much the main character, Star-Lord, loves Kevin Bacon. It’s a truth universally acknowledged since the first movie in the popular Marvel franchise dropped.
Even though it’s been a long time coming, Kevin Bacon will finally be making an appearance in the upcoming installment set to premiere on Disney+ on 25 November 2022.
The Marvel cinematic universe spin-off, starring Chris Pratt, Zoé Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, and Vin Diesel, will be based around the festive season.

It will follow the Guardians of the Galaxy as they return to Earth to get Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, in the mood for the holidays. To achieve this, they hatch a plan to kidnap Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon. In case you’re thinking that somewhere along the lines of hatching an evil plot, they realize how stupid it actually is and abandon it, they (Drax and Mantis) actually went ahead and kidnapped Bacon from his mansion.
They then try to bring him back to Milano as a delightful Christmas surprise for Star-Lord.
The trailer then goes on to confirm the return of Cosmo the Spacedog.

If you want to know what the unusual gang has been up to in between “Thor: Love and Thunder” and the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, don’t fret, the movie’s director James Gunn has promised to fill in the gaps.
He said: “Although the Holiday Special is a standalone story, it contains a lot of fun new facts about what the Guardians have been up to for all these years.”
In 2020, Kevin Bacon, 64, opened up about his desire to appear in a Marvel movie.
He said: “You tell Marvel, man. I’m ready to go. So far I haven’t heard anything about it, but I’d love to.”
