Ned Willis (Ben Hall) was on hand all day to help Toadie in any way he can. Toadie wants to show Ned his gratitude, so in return grants him some kangaroo pies from The Tram. However, what they don’t know is that the pie actually contains the poisonous mushrooms in the sauce. These are the same mushroom’s that made the Erinsborough Food Awards judge violently ill.

When Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) and Ned have a good old friendly catch up, he gifts her a pie to take home and enjoy for herself. She eats it without knowing what is actually in it, and the poison quickly makes it way throughout her system. When she collapses in front of her boyfriend he’s shocked, and quickly rushes her to the hospital. When she arrives, her condition has worsened, and the doctors have discovered that her organs are shutting down. Dr Karl and Dr David quickly get to action to save Bea’s life.
Neighbours Spoilers – Bea Is Recovering
When Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) and Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) hear what happened, they are overcome with guilt. They rush straight to the hospital to come clean about the mushrooms in the pie that Bea ate. Thankfully, they arrive to find that Bea is already recovering thanks to the quick medical action.
Kyle and Roxy anticipate the reactions from their friends and family when they tell Bea what happened, but they are shocked to find that Bea actually covers for them. Bea knows just how much The Tram means to Kyle and the memory of his late father Gary. She knows this could end the business, and she is keen to protect her family.
