Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) have just managed to buy Number 32 from Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall) and are looking for housemates to help them afford the mortgage. Aaron becomes suspicious when Chloe agrees to move in with them, paying three months’ rent up front.
What her brother doesn’t know is that Chloe has come into a lot of money after agreeing to a secret business deal with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
Neighbours Spoilers – Chloe Brennan Is Hanging Out With A Rich Guy
When she begins to wear flashy clothes and jewellery, her brother decides he must confront her and find out what’s going on – she was in great debt not too long ago.
He and David find Chloe hanging out with a rich guy, so Aaron immediately presumes she’s back in the business of giving her time to men in return for payment. Chloe is left mortified, unable to convince Aaron that she has earned her money legitimately but doesn’t want to reveal the actual truth about her business with Paul.
Thinking on her feet, Chloe lies and tells Aaron that she has taken out another credit card and the debt is already piling up on her. Feeling sorry for his sister, Aaron allows Chloe to live with them rent free until she manages to sort her finances out.

But still needing someone to pay rent, Aaron invites Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) to live with them, Sheila’s grandson who has recently returned to Ramsay Street.
Chloe later complains to Paul, noting that their deal has started to cause problems for her. Paul sympathizes with Chloe but reassures her that what they’re doing will be worth it. What are they up to?
