Neighbours’ teacher Elly Conway is in trouble once again as she faces possible sacking from Erinsborough High.
Elly’s working career at Erinsborough High has had lots of ups and downs. Fromm being promoted to acting head teacher, to being fired after clashing with stand-in head teacher Jane Harris. And her next move may see a repeat of that…
Neighbours Spoilers – Elly’s Job Is On The Line
This week Elly risks being fired in order to help Finn Kelly – once her boyfriend, then her enemy… but currently her sister’s boyfriend.
Viewers have watched this week as Elly and Finn have grown closer, their grief over Shaun Watkins’ death bringing them together. When Elly was in desperate need of some medication but could not leave the school, Finn feels he has no other choice than break his parole conditions and enter the school premises.
During his time on the school grounds to deliver Elly’s painkillers, Finn is spotted by student Olivia Lane. Recognising Finn as the man who tried to poison the students only last year, she is terrified.
Neighbours Spoilers – Finn Breaks Parole Conditions
Later, when Olivia unexpectedly disappears, Finn is forced to report her missing to the police station. Of course, as part of this he has to admit where he was, revealing to the police that he broke his parole conditions.
Feeling guilty that Finn was in school because of her, Elly heads to the police station to give a statement in which she takes the blame. However, things are made worse when Olivia’s mother Angela Lane becomes angry with Elly about her child being missing.
Sometime later Olivia is still missing, and Angela reports a sleep deprived Elly to the school board. Though Olivia is eventually found safe and well, the schoolboard takes Angela’s complaint seriously and it seems that Elly is about to get in serious trouble.
Is this the end of her teaching career?
