As revealed, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) changes her victim impact statement to fight in favour for Finn, then speaks up for him at the hearing next week. Convinced he is a new man after losing his memory, Susan is now totally Team-Finn.
And she’s not the only one; Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) also does a total 180. After witnessing Finn jump in front of a car to save Susan from being involved in a hit and run accident, she changes her mind and decides that Finn is definitely reformed.

Elly also appears to be Team-Finn, but not for the same reasons. After unknowingly sleeping with Finn’s brother Shaun, to whom she is now pregnant, Elly is stuck in a sticky situation. When Shaun finds out he blackmails Elly: either stick up for Finn in court or he will tell Mark the truth about the baby he thinks is his. Knowing that Mark would leave her if he knew the truth, she agrees.
The three positive statements from Finn – coming from people who he previously did harm to – work in his defence, and aid Imogen Willis in convincing the court that he is no longer a danger to the community.

The judge decrees that Finn won’t serve any jail time but as part of his court condition he needs somewhere to stay. Furthering his hold over Elly, Shaun orders her to convince the Kennedy’s to let Finn live with them.
