Gary has been suspicious of the relationship between Terese and Paul (Stefan Dennis) again these past few weeks, seeing them spend a lot of time together despite Terese currently being on leave from the hotel.
These insecurities are to become worse this week on Neighbours when Paul reminds Gary that he will always be in Terese’s life because her loyalty to Lassiters is so strong. Consequently, Terese’s loyalty to Paul will always be strong too.
Noticing Gary’s suspicions, Paul sets a trap to sneakily work out Terese’s true feelings, wondering if she cares for her job more than Gary. For this reason, Paul offers her a massive sum of money to pull out of Lassiters, giving her no reason to stay at the hotel.

However – just as Paul thought – Terese turns down the money in favour of staying. To Paul this is more proof that she doesn’t want to be away from him.
When Gary later finds out about Paul’s proposition and Terese’s answer he is astounded and hurt. He’s shocked not only at her decision to stay and turn down the money, but also at the fact that she didn’t talk to him about it first.
Realising what she has done wrong, Neighbours spoilers indicate that Terese tries to make it up to Gary by organising a romantic night at the hotel to reignite the spark that has faded.

However, this backfires when Gary wakes up during the night and realises that he is alone in bed. When he heads out to look for Terese he is shocked to find her in Paul’s office, the two of them looking very cosy together.
This is the last straw for Gary, who decides that he cannot go on like this and ends their relationship.
Does this mean that Paul and Terese will finally get together?
