Imogen is returning to Erinsborough to help out Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Molonie) with his law firm while he is taking some time away to grieve for his late wife Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey).
However, Imogen soon receives backlash and judgment from her family and neighbours once she agrees to help Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) fight the charges that he faces for all of the horrible crimes he committed before he was pushed off a cliff and put into a coma.
Neighbours Spoilers – Imogen Willis Interested In Defending Finn Kelly
As soon as Imogen hears about Finn’s case she is interested. Everyone on the street seems to be outraged that he may dodge all charges for his past crimes just because he has been diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. To them it doesn’t seem fair, but to Imogen it seems like a challenge.
Deciding that she wants to check out the case herself, she heads to Erinsborough to meet Finn and get a sense of what’s going on.
At the same time specialist in psychological trauma, Beverly Marshall (Shaunna O’Grady) announces that, in her professional opinion, Finn is not faking his amnesia.
Neighbours Spoilers – Will Finn Kelly Take The Offer Seriously?
For this reason, Finn calls Imogen back for a meeting, seeking legal advice. Specifically, what happens if he gets his memory back and can remember committing his awful crimes. Imogen discloses that she would recommend anyone in that position to keep quiet to avoid saying anything incriminating.
She also reveals that she would like to be his defence lawyer, believing that she could put up a strong argument on his behalf. Later in the week Finn has to take this offer seriously when the police reveal that they will be pressing charges.
Can Imogen help clear Finn’s name?
