Harlow is well aware of her grandfather’s feelings and is getting sick of him being on her back all the time. In an attempt to appease him, Harlow lies and tells Paul and Terese that she’s broken up with Brent.
Neighbours Spoilers – Predictably Delighted
Paul is predictably delighted, especially as he’s already come up with a plan for Harlow. He’s trying to set her up with newcomer Jesse, who works in the Flamingo Bar. Harlow and Jesse already know each other a little bit and get on well, so she agrees to hang out with him.
As the two share a picnic, they both come to a realisation that a fake relationship would work to their benefit. It turns out that Harlow isn’t the only one with a secret – Jesse is secretly dating local teacher Curtis Perkins (Nathan Borg), and isn’t yet ready to make it public.
But what Jesse doesn’t reveal is that he has an even bigger ulterior motive. It turns out he is actually working for the Quill family who own The Quill Hotel, Lassiters’ main rival. By getting a job at The Flamingo Bar he has been able to gain inside knowledge on Lassiters, and by fake-dating Harlow he would get even closer to his rivals.
Neighbours Spoilers – Fake Relationship
However, when Roxy walks in on Jesse and Curtis kissing next week, will his fake relationship and link to the Quill’s finally be revealed?
