Neighbours Spoilers: Kerry Armstrong Arrives – New Fake Dee Drama

Neighbours spoilers have confirmed the Fake Dee storyline will be revisited in coming weeks as her mother arrives in Erinsborough.

Neighbours bosses recently revealed the casting of Kerry Armstrong, best known for playing Heather Jelly in SeaChange. This time Kerry will be playing the role of Alice Wells, a mystery arrival with a sinister secret who has her sights set on the Rebecchi’s.

Viewers have seen Sonya (Eve Morey) struggling to look after both Nell and Hugo, made worse by them not being able to get Nell into day care. One afternoon Sonya decides to take the children to Harold’s, where they are being particularly troublesome. Suddenly a complete stranger comes to her aid, revealing that she is a retired nanny. Her name is Alice and she offers to look after Nell and Hugo while Sonya gets on with her jobs.

Sonya is reluctant at first, after all not many people are comfortable with a stranger in their home, but she has so much work to do that she hesitantly agrees. Sonya is soon relaxed and happy; Alice seems to be a natural and so is offered the position of live-in Nanny for the Rebecchi’s.

What Sonya and Toadie don’t know is that Alice is actually the mother of Andrea Somers, the conwoman who posed at Dee last year, taking hundreds of thousands of dollars of the Rebecchi’s money, as well as ruining their marriage for a while.

When Alice is alone she talks to Hugo, revealing to him and the audience that her scheme has been much easier to execute than she thought it would be. Does Andrea know that Alice is there – what does she want this time?

In an interview about her new role, Kerry revealed, “Alice is a character who pushes every boundary and is a force to be reckoned with. There is a lot of encouragement [from producers] to see who she is and how far she can go.”
