A new Neighbours trailer circulating the internet has fans terrified as it shows David’s loved ones waiting for news after he was knocked off his bike at night.
This week, Neighbours spoilers have revealed exactly who causes the accident and the story behind it…
The dramatic storyline beings when David has a falling out with his husband Aaron Brennan, angered that he was keeping his knowledge of Ned Willis and the fight club a secret. David decides that a late-night bike ride will clear his head, but it ends in disaster when a car drives right into him.
Though no one knows exactly who caused the accident, Terese Willis is one of the first suspects after she is first to arrive in the scene. Her husband Paul Robinson – the father of David – begins questioning her as to why she was out driving so late at night. Innocent of this crime but guilty of something else, Terese is forced to admit that she was driving to the shops to buy alcohol as she has relapsed and drank all the alcohol in the house.

It looks like Terese is going to be accused of hitting David until Kyle notices that the headlight cover on his car is broken. Once Amy pushes him on this, he is forced to admit that he fell asleep at the wheel the night before. When a paint chip from his car matches one found on David’s bike it’s confirmed that David was hit by Kyle, so he heads down to the police station to turn himself in.
Paul is furious when he finds out who was responsible for the accident, especially since David is currently in a critical condition. Paul decides to confront Kyle but is distracted when David’s health takes a turn for the worse.
