Neighbours viewers last week saw the death of Britney, leaving Leo (Tim Kano) to take care of their baby as a single parent. Although he’s got the unwavering support of his family, Leo is struggling to cope. He’s trying to deal with his grief as well as being the sole parent of a young baby, so it’s understandable that he’s struggling. In upcoming scenes, Leo’s struggles intensify. He turns his back on Abigail for just seconds, but she manages to roll over and fall off the couch. Terrified, he rushes Abigail to hospital, overcome with guilt.
Leo Can’t Shake The Guilt
Thankfully Abigail turns out okay on Neighbours, but Leo can’t shake his guilt. He feels as though he isn’t a good enough parent and begins to withdraw from his daughter. David (Takayah Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) soon notice this change in Leo’s behaviour and are concerned, so do all they can to support him.
Trying to lift spirits, Leo’s family invite him on a fishing trip, hoping it will take his mind off of what’s happening at home. Unfortunately, the trip doesn’t help. Leo reveals that he’s terrified of hurting Abigail again and so is avoiding spending time with her. Aaron and David do their best to reassure him things will get better as he has more experience as a parent and accidents do happen to everyone, but he’s resistant to their help.
Neighbours Spoilers – Raising His Child
Eventually, he breaks and tells David and Aaron that he wants them to raise his child, alongside Isle and Nicolette. The revelation is a shock to everyone, especially considering Aaron and David thought they were Abigail’s parents for a short time.
Will Aaron and David accept, giving then the two children they always wanted?
