Her departure storyline beings when tensions begin to rise in Ramsay Street as Piper becomes suspicious about her sister Imogen’s (Ariel Kaplan) odd behaviour. When Imogen begins to arrange secret legal meetings without letting Piper know – who is acting as her secretary – she decides to do some investigating. Piper soon finds out that Imogen has decided to take Finn Kelly on as her legal client, despite everything he has put their family and friends through.
Of course, the shocking news causes a bitter argument between the sisters, but Imogen turns the tables on her by accusing her of being unhappy and lacking any real direction, striking a nerve in Piper.
