A couple of weeks after their first kiss, Ned Willis finally gives into temptation and kisses Yashvi Rebecchi once again – for real this time.
Next week, viewers will watch as Ned looks on at the growing relationship between his ex-girlfriend Bea and his enemy Finn when they all find themselves awkwardly at the community centre together.
As punishment for his part in the recent Harry Sinclair poisoning drama, Ned is serving community service there. Conveniently, Finn is also there leading some adult education classes in support of The Sonya Rebecchi Foundation.
When Bea shows up at the centre to support Finn during his first day back at work, Ned is left hurt when he sees how close they have become. He’s left dealing with a bad mood, unsure how to feel better – until Yashvi comes along, that is. She seeks him out for help on her assignment, giving him a welcome distraction while he battles with his unclear feelings for Bea.
The next day, as Ned is still struggling, he turns to Leo Tanaka for advice on how to move on with his life. Leo suggests that he needs someone to move on with and Yashvi could be the perfect girl. Although he doesn’t see her in that way yet, Leo suggests that he could if he allows himself to move on from Bea he might.
Deciding to take the advice from Leo and distance himself from Bea, Ned takes a chance and tracks Yashvi down. He quickly reveals that he’s starting to gain feelings for her too, taking his opportunity to kiss her.
Is there a new relationship on the horizon?
