Neighbours teen Piper Willis faces a horrible experience next week when new character Lockie tries to physically force himself upon her.
Piper has been struggling a lot lately, but things are only getting worse. Last week we saw Piper getting excited when she discovered that a local was highlighting passages for her in books from the book exchange. Believing the two are kindred spirits -despite warnings from Elly (Jodi Anasta) – Piper sets off on a mission to track the anonymous person down.

When lingering around the book exchange, Piper spots newcomer Lockie dropping a book off. When she looks further she discovers it’s her favorite book and is pleased to see that parts have again been highlighted.
Piper jumps to the conclusion that Lockie must be the kindred spirit that she’s been searching for. She, therefore, decides to track him down, following him to the Back Lane Bar where he works to ask him about the books.
Although Lockie doesn’t actually have anything to do with the highlighting of the book passages, he lets Piper believe it was him, in hopes of taking things further with her.

After she starts talking about specific parts of the books, he is soon forced to tell Piper that he has nothing to do with the books. Being truthful, Lockie tells Piper that he just wants to sleep with her. Piper rejects him right away which angers him and causes him to lock the bar door, accusing her of coming to meet him specifically for that reason.
Thankfully Lockie becomes distracted when Piper’s phone rings, giving her the opportunity to knee him and rush away.
Although she’s safe when back with her loved ones she admits that it was a very close call. For this reason, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) encourage Piper to report the incident to the police – will Lockie get away with it?
