Neighbours fans will watch in shock next week as Bea’s life hangs in the balance after Scarlett makes a dangerous decision in her plot to seduce Ned Willis.
Scarlett Brady (Christie Whelan Browne)
Bea hasn’t been in a relationship with Ned for a while now, so seems like an unlikely target. However, she is about to be used as a pawn when Scarlett tries to cause trouble between Ned and his current girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi.
As Bea gets ready for her latest gig at The Waterhole, Scarlett sees the event as the perfect opportunity to split up Yashvi and Ned. Already recognising how protective Ned is over Bea, Scarlett puts Bea in danger by sabotaging the microphone ahead of her performance, fraying the lead near the connection to the amp. Scarlett then organises for Ned to come to the bar, pretending there’s a work mix-up, just in time for him to witness Bea plugging her microphone into the amp and getting a bad electric shock.
Bea instantly feels the electric shock, but Ned quickly jumps to her rescue by breaking the connection with a bar stool. He then rushes Bea to hospital, causing him to forget all about his plans to meet up with Yashvi that afternoon.
When his girlfriend demands an explanation for standing her up, Scarlett provides her with a distorted version of what happened, making it seem like the situation wasn’t serious, but Ned was still desperate to help his ex-girlfriend.
Yashvi immediately confronts Ned, who believes that she knows the real story and is shocked by her selfishness. This leads Ned to decide he needs a break from his relationship with an ‘immature’ Yashvi, meaning that Scarlett’s evil plan was triumphant…
Meanwhile, Bea wakes up in the hospital, sure that the microphone can’t have been frayed as she always checks her equipment carefully. Is Bea about to become suspicious of Scarlett?
