On Christmas day, Kane Jones (Barry Conrad) gifted Hendrix a bullet – a clear death threat. Knowing Kane’s criminal past, he knows it’s a serious threat and he begins to worry for his life. Rather than turn to his father or seek guidance from the police, Hendrix decides to take matters into his own hands and steals a gun to protect himself.
Neighbours Spoilers – Jay Rebecchi Is Horrified
When Hendrix admits to Jay Rebecchi (Dhruv Malge) that he has a gun, Jay is horrified. He tries his best to talk Hendrix down and makes him realise that defending himself in this way could have legal repercussions that would affect the rest of his life. Thankfully Hendrix agrees, but at that point they spot Bea and Levi about to walk into the backyard. Jay thinks on his feet, grabbing the gun and hiding it in the pizza oven.
Of course, Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) and Levi Canning (Richie Morris) want to use the pizza oven, but thankfully Hendrix and Jay convince them to have a takeaway Thai meal instead. Bea and Levi like the sound of that, but just as they’re about to head inside she turns on the pizza oven. The gun violently explodes, sending a blast through into Shane Rebecchi’s thigh, who is standing nearby. Dipi rushes to be by his side as he’s taken to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life threatening.
Neighbours Spoilers – Hendrix Greyson Feels Guilty
While Hendrix is tormented by guilt, the accident is a wake up call for Jay and he admits his part in the events to his parents. Dipi and Shane are shocked by what they’re told, and agree to spend time together as a family to try to sort out Jay’s behaviour.
