Shock pregnancy storyline causes major problems for Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) and Kyle Canning’s (Chris Milligan) relationships.
After Amy Williams and Kyle Canning got back together in August, the pair seemed to be totally loved up. However, they’ve hit a barrier recently after Kyle took on a lawsuit against Amy’s father Paul, then injured her brother David in a hit and run accident, leaving him fighting for his life.
In scenes that will air next week, Kyle finally receives a payout after being a victim of the hidden cameras in Lassiters’ hotel room. He decides to give a portion of the money to Aaron and David as a way to apologize for knocking him over. Although Aaron isn’t too sure – money can’t make up for what his husband has been through – whereas David accepts the money and sees it as a kind gesture.
The forgiveness from David lifts some weight from Kyle’s shoulders, but there’s a twist when Amy realizes that her period is late. While Kyle is absolutely thrilled with the idea of having a child with Amy, she isn’t so sure. She soon confesses to her brother Leo that she is already having second thoughts about having a child with Kyle, even though she did want one in her previous relationship.
Amy and Kyle have an honest talk to try and sort out their issues, which leads to her being honest that she doesn’t want any more kids yet. Kyle wants to change her mind and believes that bringing Jimmy over from New York to see her will do just that. However, this forces Leo to reveal there’s something he hasn’t told them about Jimmy which will stop him from coming back home…
There’s plenty of drama ahead and one question in the midst of it all – is Amy actually pregnant?
