Neighbours Spoilers: Shocking Return – Naomi Canning Headed Back To Ramsay Street

Fans will be delighted to know that, 5 years after her departure, Naomi Canning is returning to Ramsay Street. Naomi, played by Morgana O’Reilly, was a fan favourite, known for her feisty, quirky, and fun character. But it wasn’t always that way! Naomi was introduced as a devious man-eater – at one point trying to ruin the marriage of Toadie and Sonya Rebecchi. However, her character eventually mellowed and she became the caring, likable Naomi that we know today.

As revealed by TV Soap magazine, Sheila’s family and friends express their concern about her mental health, following the death of her son Gary. In her latest strange behaviour, Sheila is adamant that a pigeon that frequently visits her garden is in fact Gary reincarnated.

In response to her concerning behaviour, Sheila’s loved ones contact her daughter Naomi in America, asking her if she could help in making her mother see some sense. A concerned Naomi returns to Erinsborough, trying her best to understand her mum and help her through what’s going on. However, it soon becomes clear to her that Sheila’s issues stem back to her deep anger towards Susan Kennedy for allowing Finn Kelly to come back into everybody’s lives.

In an attempt to force Sheila and Susan to end their feud, Naomi locks them in a room together after sneakily inviting them both to a private meeting. Adamant that they are not allowed out until they have settled their feud, Naomi’s return to Erinsborough could be exactly what Sheila needed to help her begin to move on.

Viewers will remember that Naomi had a few relationships on the street, including being engaged to Paul Robinson. Will a return to the street also mark the return of a spark between Naomi and Paul, or is he happily married to Terese?
