Neighbours Spoilers: The Fallout From Mel’s Evil Behaviour Continues

Neighbours Spoilers: Mel Lohan (Jacqui Purvis)Mel Lohan (Jacqui Purvis) may be gone but her evil plans continue as Ned Willis (Ben Hall) comes across damning evidence about the fire that could ruin Paul Robinson.

Viewers will have watched Mel leave Ramsay Street this week, after her now ex-girlfriend Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) discovered the truth about the garage fire – Mel started it purposefully to force Lucas Fitzgerald (Scott Major) into selling the business.

Although Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) was left jobless, Mel didn’t seem to care, and her heartless attitude, along with clues about a faulty electric board that she had in her possession, caused Chloe to do the math and went to the police to reveal how the fire really started.

Though the truth might be out, Ned is still angry that his girlfriend almost died in the garage fire that took her job. After Mel escapes a prison sentence, he feels that once again she isn’t given closure after people have wronged her. This is made especially worse when it looks like Finn Kelly (Rob Mills), Bea’s villainous, manipulative ex boyfriend will also escape prison after he wakes up from his coma with retrograde amnesia.

Neighbours – Did Paul Secretly Fund Mel’s Dodgy Dealings?

Considering what he can do to get justice for his girlfriend, Ned has a look through some of the paperwork that he kept when cleaning up Mel’s office after she left. Originally thinking he would find nothing, Ned was surprised to come across a bank statement which seems to suggest that Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) – the owner of Robinson Pines for whom Mel worked – could have secretly funded her dodgy dealings, meaning the fire at the garage.

Ned decides to confront Paul, believing it’s the best way to protect his girlfriend. However, when Paul confidently denies any involvement in the fire, Bea tells Ned that it’s best to just leave it.

Ignoring her advice, Ned decides to send the evidence on to someone who Paul will have to listen to. Will there be consequences?
