Viewers of the fellow Australian soap ‘Home and Away’ will recognise Vance, who portrayed Roman Harris between the years of 2007 and 2009.

Vance will be introduced to Neighbours viewers as the boyfriend of Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson), new regular character who is the niece of Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou).

The storyline begins when Terese is visited by her former sister-in-law Gemma Willis (Beth Buchanan), sister of Brad. Beth is back to reprise the guest role of Gemma, who was last seen in Neighbours in 1991, going by the name of Gemma Ramsay back then.

Gemma reveals that she would love for her daughter Roxy to move to Melbourne under the watch of Terese. Roxy is a wild child and Gemma believes that moving in with Terese would lead her back to the straight and narrow.

Later, when Terese sees Roxy’s wild behaviour for herself, she’s not sure whether she wants the huge responsibility and the drama that would come with it. But Gemma disagrees, pointing out that Terese’s history of wild-child behaviour back in Darwin makes her the perfect person to try help Roxy get back on track.

Terese eventually agrees, insisting that it all depends on a trial period. Imogen is shocked to hear that her mother was also a wild child and pushes her on the issue. Terese reveals that when she was a teenager her boyfriend of the time was a very bad influence.

What Terese doesn’t know is that her wild ex-boyfriend is the current boyfriend of her niece Roxy, so expect fireworks when he arrives on Ramsay Street!

Tune into Neighbours on Monday 29th April to watch this explosive storyline begin!
