Neighbours Spoilers: Tyler Brennan Returns Home!

Neighbours spoilers tease that Tyler Brennan fans everywhere can rejoice – he is officially returning to Ramsay Street next week!

The fan favourite was last seen in February when he was sentenced to murder – and ten years in jail – for the murder of his father Hamish Roche. Actor Travis Burns secretly returned to the Neighbours studio early on this year to record top secret scenes which will tie up all loose ends in his storyline and unfortunately mark the end of Tyler on Neighbours.

When Cassius finally admits to Piper that he is the real killer of his father Hamish Roche, making him Tyler’s half-brother, he gets arrested and eventually confesses his crimes to the police. This is excellent for Tyler, whose charge is downgraded from murder to assault, meaning he no longer has to serve a prison sentence.

Tyler is soon back in Erinsborough a free man, making his brothers, Mark and Aaron, and his sister Chloe over the moon. He understandably has a lot of question about what went on during his time inside, particularly about what happened between his ex girlfriend Piper and the real killer Cassius.

Mark defends Piper, rationalising that they didn’t know who Cassius really was, but she did seem happy so the family gave them their blessing to go ahead with their relationship. With everything that has happened, Tyler makes the decision that he doesn’t want to see Piper, but she insists on the two of them talking.

When they get together they have a lot to talk about – 8 months’ worth of drama, in fact – and answers surrounding their future together are still unclear. Still feeling confused about her feelings for Cassius, she accepts that she and Tyler cannot pick up where they left off 8 months ago, but insists that she wants the two of them to try and move forward together.

However, Tyler has felt overwhelmed since leaving prison and ends up pushing Piper away; he’s not sure if he can get over everything that happened. What does this mean for the pair; is this the final nail in the coffin for ‘Typer’?
