Netflix Documentary “Monsters” Slammed By Erik Menendez Attorney

Netflix Documentary “Monsters” Slammed By Erik Menendez AttorneyLyle And Eric Menendez are in the spotlight once again. Presently, two different television presentations have recently been released about the Menendez brothers who were convicted of murdering both of their parents in the 1990s.

Monsters Referred To As A “Piece Of Sh*t Series

Leslie Abramson, 81, is the long term attorney for Erik Menendez and he is not one bit happy about the Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story.

Abramson was the original attorney who defended Erik in the murder trial where the boys were tried for killing not one but both of their parents.

Ironically, Abramson admits that although she has a low opinion of the series, she has never watched it and she doesn’t plan to.

Of course, it is rather hard to criticize something you have never actually seen. Apparently, Abramson hasn’t heard of, or doesn’t believe in the old adage of “don’t judge a book by its cover.”

Leslie Abramson Spoke With Entertainment Tonight

Abramson refused to make comments about her client or the Ryan Murphy produce series.

However, she did release a written statement to the public.’ “30 years is a long time,” she said in an email shown in The Menendez Brothers docuseries. “I’d like to leave the past in the past. No amount of media, nor teenage petitions will alter the fate of these clients. Only the court can do that and they have ruled.”’

That doesn’t mean that there isn’t any hope for the boys. Regardless of Abramson’s post, the boys do have people fighting on their side.

Kim Kardashian says, “I don’t believe that spending their entire natural lives incarcerated was the right punishment for this complex case. Had this crime been committed and trialed today, I believe the outcome would have been dramatically different.”

Should The Menendez Brothers Be Released?

New evidence has come to light in the case that is currently being reviewed. Prosecutors in Los Angeles recently received a letter that indicate that Erik Menendez contacted a cousin months before his parents were killed that alleged sexual assaults. The boys also claimed that they were afraid their parents would kill them to keep this secret.

Since this letter was not presented when the trial happened years ago, the prosecutors have to study is and try to make sure it wasn’t written afterward instead.

Once the evidence is declared authentic, the prosecutors will move forward with their decision about this evidence. Of course, this could change the whole outcome of the case if this is proven to be true.

Could Lyle and Erik be released after this evidence is reviewed? Could this one letter turn over this entire decision? Only time will tell.
