We all remember Casey Anthony right? The most hated woman in the world following her infamous court trial that had to do with Casey murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
For clarity purposes, Casey Anthony’s daughter Caylee was discovered to be missing, and from reports, the 2-year-old was last seen with her mother Casey. After Caylee’s disappearance, no formal report was made about Caylee’s disappearance. Six months later, Carlee’s remains were found near their family home.
The disappearance and finding of the remains of Caylee took place in 2008. The trial garnered national and international attention, everyone who owned a social media handle, especially Facebook followed the case online.
In the year 2011, Casey was charged with murder, and few months later Casey was acquitted but was convicted for lying and served jail time.
Casey Anthony — Casey’s Side Of The Story
In her upcoming docuseries Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies, Casey revealed some bombshells which had us thinking we got it all wrong.

Casey opened up to Alexandra Dean a filmmaker—per Buzzfeed, and shared that the whole thing happened because of her dysfunctional family. Casey revealed that her father George Anthony an ex-cop began molesting her when she was 8 years old, he continued till she was 12 years old.
Casey recalled waking up “the next morning or even hours later knowing that it had happened again.” She revealed that her mom Cindy Anthony was aware but was more engrossed with presenting the image of a perfect family to the public.
One day, when Casey was 19 years old, she attended a party, there, she was drugged and rapped. Casey’s late daughter Caylee was the product of that fateful night. Casey revealed that her ever perfect mom made her pretend that she wasn’t pregnant.
Casey Anthony — Casey Did Her Best
Knowing what she went through in her father’s hands, Casey didn’t want her daughter to go through that same ordeal so she always took Caylee to her friend Zanny’s place just so Caylee doesn’t get to be with her child molester grandfather, while she worked as a club promoter to make enough money to leave with her daughter.
Casey also said that she hid her job from her mom for fear of what Cindy would do to her.
One night, Casey’s father George woke Casey up to tell her that Caylee was missing. George blamed Casey for Cayley’s disappearance but some hours later George returned with Caylee who was soaked and dripping with water, obviously Caylee drowned.
Casey said that out of shock she collapsed while hugging her daughter close to her. She wondered why George didn’t make any effort to resuscitate Caylee nor call 911.
When the investigation began, Casey made up a story of where she worked to explain her absence at the time her daughter died.
It’s been more than a decade since Casey was pronounced not guilty by a judge. Casey who’s now 36, decided to share her side of the story since her prosecutor already made a story about her and a movie was made out of her prosecutor’s narrative who tagged her “party girl” after she was seen in the club following her daughter’s demise.
The Documentary Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies will begin streaming on Peacock on Nov. 29.
