Lucifer Season 4 Teases Major Character Return, Adds Inbar Lavi and Graham McTavishRaising the anticipation for “Lucifer” Season 4, new details about the upcoming season have emerged. The Netflix show teases a major character returning and casts two new characters.

“Lucifer” Season began shooting last week. In a Twitter video, D.B. Woodside reveals that his character, Amenadiel, has returned. He is the eldest angel who first came to Earth to convince his younger brother, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), to return to Hell after he gave up the throne. Amenadiel was last seen in the Season 3 finale.

Meanwhile, the show also adds new cast members, the first being Inbar Lavi who will play Eve, the original sinner. According to TV Insider, Eve’s storyline would be about going after her first love, none other than Lucifer. The release says:

“After an eternity with Adam, she’s grown restless in her marriage and longs for a less predictable time when things were exciting. Naughty. Dangerous. She misses her hot and heavy first love…the charming rogue who tempted her so many years ago. That’s right, the devil himself…Lucifer.”

Now, that teases some hot scenes, and Tom Ellis, in fact, has been training at the gym for the past six months for two hours a day, six times a week to get in shape for his devil role. He shared a photo of himself on Instagram, saying that he is close to reaching his target.

Then the other new addition to the “Lucifer” family is Graham McTavish (known for his role in “Preacher.” McTavish is going to play a holy man, Father Kinley, in a recurring role this coming season. Father Kinley is described as a “kind, deeply empathetic and revered priest,” according to TVLine. He will do everything to protect the people around him from evil, and that’s going to be a problem for Lucifer.

“Lucifer” Season 4 is set to premiere on Netflix in 2019. The season will tackle Chloe’s fallout as she sees the true evilness of Lucifer, and how it affects their relationships and her affections for him.
