The Yellowstone Prequel, 1883 news arrives as fans impatiently await the premiere of Season 4 in the series. The extremely popular show draws millions of fans and the exciting news is that the prequel takes fans to earlier days. Of course, with Paramount+ behind it, it looks like it will go global, which is marvelous for international fans. Plus, it looks like the cast is strong and experienced. Now news arrived that confirms Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill will star in it.

Yellowstone Prequel 1883 News – As Season 4 Premiere Delays

If you haven’t yet watched the drama series, it was created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. Premiering in June 2018, it features excellent actors like Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham. Addictive, it focuses on all the conflict that arises between a native reservation and a huge ranch. Season 4 comes along soon. However, the expected July 2021 premiere never happened.

News about the Yellowstone prequel is exciting. However, for now, fans scratch their heads with frustration as no premiere date has yet emerged for Season 4. Actually, it’s not clear why there’s any delay at all. Rumors suggest it relates to some dispute between CBS Paramount Plus and NBC’s streaming service on Peacock. All fans know, is that it’s worth watching and eventually, it will arrive.

Popculture reported this week, that Chris McCarthy, the CEO of MTV Entertainment Group, said “We are thrilled to have Sam, Tim and Faith as the stars of Taylor Sheridan’s new series exclusively for Paramount+ around the world.” In 1883, the Dutton family ancestors undertake a journey into the Great Plains. Back then, it really wasn’t settled so they need to carve out a life for themselves. Obviously, they run into brushes with locals and nature.

Set in Montana, Sam Elliot will play the role of Shea Brenna, a cowboy who will guide the family in the Yellowstone prequel. Meanwhile, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill act as the matriarch and patriarch of the family. Both of them have a lot of good things to say about Taylor Sheridan, the writer/creator.  Actually, they both look forward to acting in a raw and rough storyline where humans pit themselves against themselves and against unspoiled nature.

Yellowstone Prequel News – Faith Hill Says It’s A Great Opportunity

Faith said that she thinks it’s a wonderful “opportunity” to take part as one of the “formidable” Dutton family. Additionally, she added that she feels “humbled and honored” working with the team. As Margaret, it’s up to her to bring the very strong character to life. Meanwhile, Tim noted, “Taylor has found a way of storytelling that brilliantly creates these epic dramas and family sagas with so much depth and creativity.” The prequel 1883, certainly sounds like it’s going to be totally worth waiting for.
