Did Ryan Routh Have Insider Information About Donald Trump?
Former assistant FBI director says would-be Trump assasin Ryan Routh may have had inside information on Trump’s schedule.
Chris Swecker says there is a “scary” possibility someone else was involved. “The biggest question to answer is: ‘How did the would-be assassin know to be at that location at that time?’” he told Newsweek.
“There are only three possible answers: He guessed and got very lucky; he conducted surveillance on Trump and followed him to the golf course, or he had inside information about Trump’s schedule.”
“The last answer is scary and has implications that another person was involved.”
What’s Next For Donald Trump?
During an interview with Fox News, Martin County Sheriff Will Snyder said the “million dollar question” is how Routh knew where Trump was going to be. Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter.
Some commented on social media with, “There’s no way he just got lucky. There is a leak from inside.”
“What it comes down to is Trump just needs to stay out of public right now. He’s too important to lose, and we have a country to save.”
Another critic wrote, “Only an insider makes sense. If a guy like that could tail Trump and not be noticed that’s a serious problem.”
“But even if he did, how did he know Trump was even playing, much less his tee time so he could get in position? He had his car on the street right next to where he was hiding so he didn’t plan to be there for long.”
And then there was this comment as well: “How absurd. You don’t camp out at a golf course with an AK 47 and hope one person comes along.”
