If that weren’t enough, it almost seems as though the mainstream media might even be blaming him for the second attempt to begin with. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Is The Media Trying To Downplay Donald Trump’s Second Assassination Attempt?
It seems like a lot of the media heavyweights are pointing their finger at Trump and no one else but Trump.
Politico had a title that said, “Republicans outraged over possible assassination attempt: ‘They are going to keep trying to k*ll Trump.’”
Meanwhile, Time magazine reported, “he suspect arrested in relation to the shooting at Trump’s golf course in Florida on Sunday has been identified as Ryan Routh—a 58-year-old with unclear political ideology.”
And then there was the Cincinnati Enquirer that suggested Donald Trump might be bringing these assassination attempts on himself, if that even makes sense.
What’s Next For Donald Trump And His Campaign?
The White House also said that they were “shocked and concerned” when this happens, but haven’t taken any action.
Of course, many fans and critics on both sides of the aisle had a lot to say about the matter.
Some included, “We knew this was coming. The media is predictable and they are of course loving how dirty they can get in lying about Trump’s assassination.”
Another critic said, “This media is so wack. A Democrat propaganda machine. This will keep happening if they aren’t held accountable.”
“The media is blaming Trump because they know it’s their fault. The media and the Biden-Harris administration’s rhetoric has painted Trump out to be a dictator.”
And then there was this comment as well: “The way some media outlets are handling the assassination attempt on Trump is troubling. It’s disheartening to see headlines that downplay the severity and even blame him for it.”
