Kamala Harris – Mocked For Her New Jamaican Accent
Apparently, Kamala Harris has unveiled a new Jamaican accent as she discusses the importance of empathy. The comments came on ‘The Late Night’ show with Stephen Colbert.
She said, “Have you no empathy man? No. For the, the suffering of other people. Have you no sense of purpose?”
But this isn’t the first time that Kamala has tried speaking in a different accent.
In September, the presidential candidate pulled out a Latino accent while speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
When the crowd said “we love you,” to her, Kamala responded with, “Aye luh you back!”
Is Kamala Harris Going Too Far With Her Accents?
Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Come commented with, “Imagine if President Trump did these accents. He’d be impeached and probably indicted for them.”
“This is one of the craziest, most surreal things about her campaign. Was she asking herself that question? The woman is completely tone deaf.”
Another critic wrote, “Kamala’s Jamaican accent stunt on Colbert is just another sad, cringe-worthy attempt to act like she’s ‘relatable.’”
“Newsflash: empathy isn’t about putting on a voice—it’s about real actions that make a difference! Why does she think Americans will fall for this phony act?”
And then there was this comment as well: “Is this seriously the same person? Are they pranking the American people with different people portraying Kamala? Is that why her neck always looks like a Halloween mask?”
So far Kamala Harris herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received. Let us know what you think by leaving us a line with your thoughts below.
