Maybe she likes to enjoy a glass of wine during her nights off or maybe she doesn’t. According to the latest reports, Kamala Harris cracked open a beer on “The Late Show” with host Stephen Colbert which is set to air later this evening.

The incident comes as some on the right have accused Harris of being an alcoholic. 

Harris reportedly joked about being drunk during the appearance, saying, “This is what happens when I drink beer” after she called Trump a “loser.”

Harris reportedly drank a Miller High Life out of a can. The Vice President was mocked by Saturday Night Live over the weekend for drinking alcohol. 

Both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden don’t drink alcohol. Harris apparently hopes to break that trend if she becomes president.

Did Kamala Harris Go Too Far This Time Around?

It goes without saying that many critics had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “I really don’t understand the logic of doing this on live TV, but her campaign must think this will be relatable. Her campaign has done pretty well over the past two months but they seem to be getting more desperate.”

Another critic wrote, “To be honest, Kamala Harris, being drunk all the time really explains a lot. Is there anything authentic about the Democratic Party? Back to having a beer to be relatable.”

And then there was this comment as well: “She thought Tim could get the men votes. That didn’t work, so now she thinks her drinking a beer will get her some men votes? Good Lord, she just keeps getting worse.”
