Meghan McCain Disses ‘The View’ Gets Seriously Mocked

Meghan McCain who described herself as a “true conservative” on The View dissed ABC News this week and she got thoroughly mocked for her efforts. Meghan exited the show after a big clash with Joy Behar but she still loves to talk about her time there. 

Meghan McCain Disses ABC As Shake-Up Rumors Arise

This week, rumors arrived via sources that ABC execs are concerned about the one-sided political stance on The View. So, worried about losing the majority of voters, there is apparently a shake-up taking place. Recruiting more conservative or Republican-leaning panelists and co-hosts seems to be a serious consideration.

Perhaps Meghan McCain regrets leaving when she did. The tides have turned and Donald Trump is now the President Elect. Not that she was always really and truly pro-Trump. Anyway, she dissed ABC on the same day the news emerged. But even conservatives joined in the mockery.

Meghan McCain Disses ABC News

McCain was not the only conservative on The View, and Abby Huntsman featured on the show through 2018 and 2020. Meanwhile, Meghan was there between 2017 and 2021. But, it seems she forgot that. On X, formerly Twitter, a repost revealed her claiming that “The only Republican that is acceptable at ABC News is an ex-one.”

The caption about Meghan McCain formerly on ABC’s The View also elaborated:

A true conservative ‘is unacceptable and does not exist in the entirety of ABC News. I was the only one … Look, I certainly have these ’Sliding Doors’ moments where I’m like, what if I had just lied a little and stayed on the show and just … conformed myself. You make a lot of money doing those shows. You get a lot of attention. I was invited to all the cool parties.”

The Mockery Of Meghan

Meghan McCain also talked about voting for Donald Trump and being pro-life. In the comments, many people slammed Meghan, not for being wrong about ABC News as a whole, but for being a flip-flopper. Here are some reactions:

• All the cool parties with the Whoopi, Joy, and Sunny Hostile. C’mon.
• McCain name is stained in politics. She needs to go be a good human and leave politics.
• When you reject Republican party sentiment, as expressed by the majority of the Republican electorate, you are no longer a Republican and should stop posing as one. To continue doing so, is simply a desperate attempt to remain relevant. It’s pathetic.
• Sorry, but Meghan isn’t a conservative, which is why she was allowed on the air. She’s a blue dog Democrat, and I wish she would stop pretending she isn’t.
• Megan McCain isn’t exactly an honest, decent conservative Republican. She has routinely spread dishonest and vile rhetoric in line with the worst Democrat talking points.
• With her hatred of Trump she’s part of the problem spewing crap, selling her soul for the “parties” just STFU!!!
