This has naturally led to certain misconceptions about the former first lady, which she is now looking forward to correcting in her upcoming “personal” memoir.
Melania Trump Says It’s “Important” To Share My Perspective Ahead of Memoir Release
Melania Trump wants to “clarify the facts” with her upcoming memoir. In a new clip teasing the memoir, Melania’s charity work is seen interspersed with images from her modeling career, important family moments, and her campaigns alongside her husband Trump, who is a presidential candidate for the Republican party.
Even though she chose to highlight her campaigns with Trump, the former First Lady has been making infrequent appearances at campaign events with her husband as of late.
This year, she’s only made one appearance during his campaign at Milwaukee in July and did not issue a statement in support of her husband’s candidacy.
This has, of course, given free reins for rumors to start flying about, including the one where she allegedly cut a deal with Trump that she will reduce her First Lady duties should he win the 2024 Presidential election. These rumors, and more, are something Melania hopes to set right in upcoming memoir.
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” she shared in the black-and-white clip shared with fans on Sept. 5 on social media. “As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth.”
The book “invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life.”
Melania’s office further revealed that the book will be available in two versions: a $150 “collector’s edition” and a “Memoir Edition,” 304 pages long, including 48 pages of never-before-seen photographs. The book is listed at $40, with signed editions going for $75.
Interested fans can pre-order the book via her official website MelaniaTrump.com ahead of its release on October 1.
