Michelle Obama shared a short clip of her and her husband Barack Obama giving Kamala a phone call, which took place earlier in the week.

Michelle captioned it with, “Earlier this week, we called our friend and told her that we think she’d make a fantastic President of the United States. We’re proud to endorse Vice President @kamalaharris to be our Democratic nominee. Let’s go make history again.”

While a lot of people have been hoping for Michelle to throw her name in the hat, a lot of people are loving this interaction and even hoping for Kamala to choose Michelle as her running mate. Talk about wishful thinking, right?

Some fans even commented on social media with, “Even as a Canadian this fills me with so much joy, and hope, and comfort. The thought of our closest neighbors and friends trying to survive another term of Trump is dreadful.”

What’s Next For Kamala Harris?

“Kamala, listening to you speak is a breath of fresh air compared to the vitriol spewed by Trump. We’re rooting for you up here! Michelle and Barack, thank you for the support!”

Another fan wrote, “I moved to the US in 2008, when Obama ran for and won the presidency with the campaign slogan, ‘Yes we can!’ I remember crying the night he won feeling inspired to pursue something close to my heart.”
