The Very Odd Reason Why Melania Trump’s New Memoir Is Raising Eyebrows

Melania Trump’s memoir drops in October and chances are you had no idea. That’s because there is very little being said about the tome, and that has some worried. Will Melania’s autobiography be full of salacious gossip? Or will it be dignified, befitting of a wife of a former POTUS? Here’s what we know so far.

Melania Trump’s New Book

The former First Lady’s book debuts on October 8. For a book that’s set to drop within three weeks, it’s surprising, maybe even startling, that the tome is such a mystery.

There has been no celebratory media blitz which is odd given that she is a high-profile VIP whose husband is currently running for President.

Where is Melania Trump?

There has been minimal PR, although a July press release promised Melania’s book will reveal “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”

The cover of the book is total vanilla: The name ‘Melania’ written in white against a black background. If you want the $150 collector’s edition you’ll get a book with a white background and Melania’s name printed in black.

What Will Melania Trump Say In her Memoir?

Melania tweeted a PR video which is about as non-revealing as it gets, with the phrase “May your experience reading my book be as enjoyable as the writing process was for me” immediately forgettable.

We may never know if Melania penned her bio herself (unlikely), or if she used a ghostwriter (likely).

Who Wrote Melania Trump’s Memoir?

Another video, dropped on September 5, has Melania stating that she feels “a responsibility to clarify the facts [and share] the truth.” Now we’re getting somewhere.

Is she referencing the July assassination attempt on her husband when she says “There is definitely more to this story and we need to uncover the truth” or merely referring to her fashion choices and dining preferences?

It’s impossible to know how much fire Melania’s book will bring in an election year. This past weekend her husband was the victim of an apparent second assassination attempt which would not have made it into her memoir.

At this point we have to wonder if Melania’s book is timed to somehow boost Donald Trump’s star in the election process.
