Looking good and feeling even better, Tammy Slaton just shared some photos in which she enjoys a waterfront summer breeze. And the new pics reveal the 1000-Lb Sisters star looking slimmer than ever. The pics via People show Tammy looking at a sunset by the water. 

But while Slaton looked lovely in her sunset-pink frock and butterfly hair adornment, 1000-Lb Sisters fans focused on her weight loss and health on social media. For instance, one Instagram follower wrote, “You’re doing great Tammy. And we are rooting for you. PERIOD!!!” And another 1000-Lb Sisters fan shared, “Love that you’re getting out and seeing the world after your weight loss. You deserve it.”

Slaton has surprised many viewers of 1000-Lb Sisters with her renewed determination to lose weight. And Tammy even gave her weight loss surgeon Dr. Eric Smith a surprise. Visiting him on his birthday, Tammy shared two successes. And as the 1000-Lb Sisters star revealed, those successes included walking alone and not needing an oxygen tube.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Slaton Gives ‘Best Birthday Surprise’

Social media posts revealed Tammy telling her doctor, “Something’s missing!” And the 1000-Lb Sisters star gestured to her face to give Dr. Smith a clue. But she also walked toward him without any need for mobility devices. And as she gave her doctor a hug, he exclaimed, “No oxygen! That’s awesome! [And the] best birthday surprise.”

But Slaton realizes that her journey, in some ways, has only just begun. And the 1000-Lb Sisters star shared that she appreciates all her milestones. Those include a near-death situation when she stopped breathing before surgery. But a medically induced coma and a ventilator saved Tammy, and her surgery followed.

As a result, Slaton takes pride in coming back from what she views as a wake-up call. “I wised up and got my surgery,” said Tammy. And she explained that her doctor approved her going off her oxygen machine during the day. “Now I only wear my oxygen at night, along with my BiPap machine,” Slaton shared. “I monitor my oxygen levels throughout the day and keep my machine on hand in case I need it.” And overall, Tammy feels “great! I’m thankful to be alive, and it’s fun to be progressing as much as I am,” she added.
