1000-Lb Sisters Star Amy Halterman Updates Season 4 Status

1000-Lb Sisters fans decided that season 4 had been canceled. Actually, there hasn’t yet been an official announcement. In fact, some folks thought that 1000 Best friends had spelled the end for Amy Halterman and her sister Tammy Slaton. Well, after folks asked Amy for months about the future of the show, she finally updated them on Instagram.

Tammy Slaton doesn’t say much on social media these days. Actually, she is still active but mainly posts heavily filtered photos and TikToks for herself bugging her eyes out. Of course, rumors run around social media that the show is still on. Probably, that’s because Tammy hinted at it ages ago. Well, Amy hinted at the opposite end of the spectrum. In fact, word came that she might not film given the workload of it. Bear in mind, she has two kids now. 

1000-Lb Sisters fans also met Chris Combs who decided to help Amy reach her targets for gastric surgery. However, the season ended in disaster when Amy vaped, partied hard with alcoholic shots, and ended up nearly dying. Despairing because Tammy wasn’t putting out a positive message, fans thought TLC should end the show. Perhaps they did, as Chris Combs told his fans on Facebook they hadn’t signed a contract. But later, news via Backwoods Barbi claimed they were filming.

On October 29, Amy took to her Instagram and shared some photos of herself with a few other people. Gage was there as well. In her caption, she said, “Omg got to meet Douglas tait or Mike Mayer from Halloween kills. Gage loved the haunt forest. He had a blast playing with the cast.” Well, everyone knows that Amy loves scary things as she named her son after a terrifying character in one of  Stephen King’s books. 

1000-Lb Sisters fans chatted about the fun day out, and of course, others started telling Amy how much they miss the show. Others asked when a new season comes and some folks told the inquirers that it’s not happening. Hearing that the show is completely canceled made some folks feel really sad. But further down in the comments, Amy did give an update.

This time, Amy Halterman finally gave a reply. But, it’s not a confirmation that the show has not been canceled. Instead, she kept it short but mysterious.l Her reply said, “Im not sure, (sic).”

As Amy didn’t say it has been canceled, TLC fans still hold out a little bit of hope that they will see season 4 eventually.
