Tammy Slaton feels ready to share the latest about her sexuality. And the 1000-Lb Sisters star did so in a new TikTok video. However, Tammy created the video to respond to a fan who wanted to know if the 37-year-old 1000-Lb Sisters star considered herself transgender, per People.
And Tammy also shared a video in which she used emojis for the Pride flag and transgender flag in her caption. But the 1000-Lb Sisters star clarified, “No, I’m not trans. I’m just a supporter of everybody.”
However, then Tammy recalled that she previously announced that she “was saying I was pansexual.” But after her late husband Caleb Willingham’s death, that changed, according to the 1000-Lb Sisters star. And she added, “I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed.”

However, Tammy shared that now she views herself as “like a lesbian.” And she added about her emojis, “I was just showing support. I’m not a hater. Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary, whatever. I’m just a lover.”
Tammy met her late husband Caleb at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. And amid achieving her weight loss goals, the 1000-Lb Sisters star found love. The two tied the knot in November 2022.
But to those who thought that the decision to wed happened too soon, Tammy shared that she viewed Caleb as the love of her life. “What’s not to love? He really fit in with our family,” she added.
However, just seven months later, Willingham died at age 40. And since then, the 1000-Lb Sisters star made two pieces of jewelry from her late husband’s ashes. She wears those pieces, a ring and a music note-shaped necklace, every day.
1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Came Out As Pansexual
However, in 2021, Tammy shared that she defined herself as pansexual. And she did so amid a two-year relationship with her ex-boyfriend Jerry. An episode of 1000-Lb Sisters that season revealed Tammy coming out to Jerry.
And she told him, “It means love is love. I would date anybody whether they’re transgender, straight, gay.” But when her confused boyfriend asked if Tammy would date a transgender man, she responded, “Yeah. Or girl. It’s about how they make me feel, not how they look.”
However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star later shared, “I always thought I was bisexual. And then I started talking to one of my friends and she told me she was pansexual,” recalled Tammy. But then her friend told her that it “means you love everybody, not just the same sex. And I was like, ‘Well, I guess I am too.’ Because I wouldn’t mind being with someone who’s transgender, or whatever.”
