1000-Lb. Sisters – Staying Alive Is Getting Expensive For Tammy
Although the reality TV star has recently made some headway with her weight issues, according to Screen Rant, Tammy still cannot seem to get her finances in order. Much of the 1000-Lb. Sisters veteran’s available funds have gone into trying to keep her alive.
Most recently, Tammy has had to dump mo0st of her savings into the weight-loss rehab center that is, as of this writing, trying to save her life.
1000-Lb. Sisters – Tammy Lost 115 So Far In Rehab, But Cost May Be Too Great
Tammy’s sister Amy Slaton told The Sun on February 8 that Tammy had lost her home when she could no longer afford the rent. As fans know, Amy recently moved out of the $239,000 Kentucky duplex that the two sisters were sharing, and Tammy has been staying in a pricey Ohio rehab facility for food addiction.
The 35-year-old, 1000-Lb. Sisters alum has been in the Ohio rehab for just over a month and has seen a whopping 115 lbs. fall away, but the progress didn’t come cheap. In fact, Amy revealed that Tammy has been using her social security to pay for things and that, surprisingly, TLC isn’t currently spending a dime on her recovery.

1000-Lb. Sisters – Fans Hope A Fourth Season Will Help
Viewers have seen Tammy Slaton begging her sister to stay with her, but Amy has a growing family and decided to find more space to live in. Amy has confessed that, once Tammy leaves rehab, she can stay with her but likely, only for a short time.
Though TLC has paid for Tammy’s rehab in the past, that no longer seems to be the case and Tammy and Amy’s income is undisclosed at this time. Though Amy has indicated that she doesn’t want a season 4 of 1000-Lb. Sisters, fans are hoping there will be another season, as it could help with Tammy’s financial woes.
