Alaskan Bush People Rain Brown Accuses Her Sister-In-law of Identity Theft

Family Drama Escalates For 'Alaskan Bush People' Stars As Rain Brown Accuses Her Sister-in-law of Identity TheftSince ‘Alaskan Bush People’ ended in 2022, fans have been keeping up with the stars of the show on Instagram, and let me tell you, the drama has managed to find its way offscreen.

Rain Brown recently hinted at mounting family tension when she accused her brother Noah’s wife of trying to steal her identity. She shared this latest claim in a video, where she used a cryptic song as background music to emphasize her message.

‘Alaskan Bush People’ Alum Rain Brown Accuses Rhain Brown In A TikTok Video

Rain Brown is convinced her sister-in-law Rhain, who is married to Noah, is trying to impersonate her.

“POV your crazy sister-in-law [tries] to steal your identity but there is only one Rain Brown and you’re the real one,” she captioned the post set to the spooky song ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia.’

Needless to say, this accusation has left fans spiraling, since they remember that Rhain has been using the nickname even before she met Rain.

Yes, it may not have been her birth name, but according to her, she changed it as far back as her teen years. “It wasn’t until I met Noah that I changed it legally,” she previously confessed. She also shared a picture of her college diploma, which addressed her as “Ruth ‘Rhain’ A. Merrill, in the post.

“This is a picture of my first of 3 college degrees that I have. Given to me on August 25th, 2011. Let it be stated that Alaskan Bush People did not premiere until May 6th, 2014,” she wrote.

“So, if you can see here, that I was already documented as Rhain, 3 years prior to any possible knowledge of someone in particular, then you can feasibly reason that I did in fact not change my name because of that person.”

This just goes to show that Rain might have been accusing her of stealing her name behind-the-scenes, because she publicly came forward with this explanation before Rain’s latest stunt.

Rain and Noah recently had a huge falling out, which saw the latter file a restraining order against the former and accuse her of harassment, threats of violence, and drug use.

Fans React To Rain’s Latest Impersonation Claims: “Weird”

Fans took to the comments section to react to the claims, with one writing, “What’s weird is that she showed her diploma on IG that had “Rhain” on it long before she ever met rain brown. Their names aren’t even spelled the same. There’s 3 sides to every story. Just saying.”

Another wrote, “I always wondered how he ended up with a wife the same name as his sister. I didn’t know she changed it till TT.” Yet another fan hinted that they would love to learn more about the situation via a “tell-all book.”
