Rachel Lindsay, the first ever African American Bachelorette lost her heart to Bryan Abasolo, but the happy days ended and now they square off in a toxic divorce. Already, she was ordered to make payment to the chiropractor, and now she has to pay more money to the ABC contestant.
Rachel Lindsay Had No Prenup, Pays Money
Bryan Abasolo was the one who announced that he intended to divorce Rachel. Actually, it came just weeks after she talked about scaling back on her work commitments and considering raising kids. Clearly, the ABC couple were not on the same page at the time.
Rachel Lindsay seemed set for failure in her marriage to Bryan Abasolo as she admitted that they lived like passing ships in the night. With her evening engagements and Bryan’s commitment to working all day, they hardly ever saw each other. However, an even bigger mistake might have been not getting a prenup as it’s costing her a lot of cash.
Bryan Abasolo Is Winning The Toxic Divorce?
Brayn moved his practice and started again to accommodate Rachele’s desire to continue living in Los Angeles. As it took time to rebuild, he claimed that he took home an absurdly small amount each month. So he wanted spousal support which he was granted. Additionally, he wanted money to help pay for his forensic accountant and he won on that point as well.
Rachel Lindsay must be rueing the day that she never got a prenup before the ABC stars tied the knot. Apparently, the Bachelorette and he husband disagreed on having one. So, they dropped the subject. Included in their community property is the house, and he claimed, cash that they jointly earned. Now she has to pay him thousands of dollars from that fund, according to InTouch Weekly.
Bachelorette Will be Paying $43,648
The outlet reported that court documents show Rachel has agreed to pay money, despite claiming she wouldn’t. The article on August 19 noted:
Rachel, 39, agreed to transfer to Bryan, 44, a total of $43,648 from the community estate. The funds will be considered an advance distribution of community property to Bryan and shall be charged to Bryan in the ultimate division of the community estate, the filing noted.
There has been a bitter dispute between the Bachelorette alums over their assets and cash. Although the ABC contestant moved out of the house already, the division of assets will likely be a tricky case. He’s not giving her an inch when it comes to deciding who will pay whom. So far, it looks like he’s winning the arguments in court.
Perhaps Rachel should have gone with her gut instincts., Remember, she kept on looking for reassurance that Bryan Abasolo was really committed to her.
