Is Captain Jason Chambers Returning to Below Deck Down Under Season 3?
Captain Jason Chambers has been part of Below Deck Down Under since its inception. Fans fear the Peacock series wasn’t returning for another season. There wasn’t any recent news about the show’s future.
Fortunately, it was confirmed that Below Deck Down Under will return for another season. Rumors previously swirled that the show was canceled. Bravo has been silent on the new season. Fans want to know more about the cast, the setting, and the charter guests.
Aesha Scott left the show for Below Deck Mediterranean. She’s been working alongside Captain Sandy Yawn. Captain Jason is likely to return for Season 3. He admitted that he can’t wait to get back on the waters.
Captain Jason Chambers has become one of the most popular cast members in the spinoff series. Fans love his calm demeanor and dry sense of humor. He’s also easy on the eyes. Below Deck Down Under currently has two seasons under its belt. In Season 2, Captain Jason revealed his plans to be tougher on his crew.
They dealt with a series of new challenges. Captain Jason had to move forward from the scandal involving Margot Sisson and Luke Jones. Fans commended him for his swift action in removing the bosun. He also had a successful remainder of the charter season on Below Deck Down Under.
When Will Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Premiere?
A month ago, rumors surfaced about the cancellation of Below Deck Down Under Season 3. Captain Jason Chambers talked about the Australian spinoff on Instagram.
According to a post from Twitter user @realityshizz, Captin Jason told fans “No season 3 down the pipeline.” He also suggested that “change is good.”
He shared that he “had two great seasons” and he is “grateful” for the opportunity. Bravo hasn’t confirmed that Below Deck Down Under was canceled.
Captain Jason’s comment about Season 3 not being “in the pipeline” refers to Aesha Scott filming Below Deck Mediterranean at that moment.
Noah Sampton, senior vice president of unscripted production for NBCUniversal, told The New York Times that Season 3 was filming in the Seychelles from early February to late March. This suggests that Below Deck Down Under Season 3 could premiere later this year.

I’m a self-confessed Below Deck super-fan. I’ve watched every single episode of every single season of every franchise (Below Deck, Mediterranean, Sailing Boat, Down Under & Adventure). The one thing I’ve noticed, being an Australian myself, is that we’ve being well represented. If I can recall correctly, there’s has been an Australian crew member on each season of Below Deck and it’s franchises.
Being a proud Aussie, I figured it only makes sense that the next season of Below Deck Down Under (either season 4 or 5) should be an an All-Aussie affair from crew to location.
All the ingredients for an exiting, much anticipated season are there:
• location- Airlie Beach QLD
• captain- Jason Chambers
• bosun- Ben Willoughby
• chief stew- Aesha Scott
• chef- Ileisha Dell
• deck crew- Luka Brunton, Harry Van Vilet, Gael Cameron, etc
• stews- Natalya Scudder, Barara (Barbie) Pascual, Paris Field, etc
Basically I’ve done all the hard work, Bravo just need to film it.
Regards,
3 legged pirate.
