Real Housewives Of New York City (RHONY) alum Bethenny Frankel recently filled in for Today show host Jenna Bush Hager. And during her appearance, Bethenny introduced her daughter. The 52-year-old RHONY alum shared that Bryn Hoppy felt thrilled to go with her mom to the set. And at 13, Frankel’s daughter got to make her Today show debut as her mom proudly watched, noted People.

Frankel pointed out that the occasion marked a milestone for her daughter. “It’s the first time she’s come to an appearance with me,” shared the RHONY alum. “And she was excited.” But Today host Hoda Kotb took on the role of introducing Bryn. And Hoda praised, “She’s such a sweet kid” as she gave the teenager a hug. However, Hoda wanted Bryn to spill the tea on her famous mother.

And when Kotb, 58, asked Bryn to describe Bethenny as a parent, the teenager couldn’t hold back her laughter. “Crazy,” summed up Bethenny’s daughter. And when the Today show host asked for more, Bryn admitted that her mother’s “stories” entertained her. Bethenny co-parents Bryn with her ex, Jason Hoppy.

RHONY – Alum Uses ‘Strict’ Parenting Style

But mom and daughter seemed to disagree on Frankel’s parenting style. For instance, Bethenny shared that she and Bryn enjoy “adventures every day.” But Bryn described her mother as “strict.”

And the teenager added directly to Frankel, “You reach a point and then you get really mad.” However, her famous mother acknowledged that. And the RHONY alum shared that she uses the phrase “shut the program down” to halt her daughter’s behavior. But as a mother herself, Kotb related.

And the Today show host noted, “The boiling point, we’ve all been there. It’s the point where you’re about to tip over.” However, Hoda also made time to thank Bryn for appearing on the show. And she told the teenager, “Bryn, we love you. We’re so happy that you came to see us along with Bethenny.”

Frankel herself recently wished her daughter happy birthday on Instagram. And the RHONY alum noted, “I may work hard in business. But there is nothing I take more seriously than being a mother to this sweet, beautiful baby girl of mine. Every parent gushes, so I will try to restrain myself,” added Bethenny. “But she is perfect.” And the devoted mom couldn’t resist gushing.

“I can’t believe how loving, sweet, silly, natural, grounded and just all-around good she is,” wrote Frankel in her Instagram tribute to Bryn. “She was born a nice girl and she has never strayed. She was blessed with as many gifts as I have flaws,” added the RHONY alum. “And I am so grateful to go through this beautiful life with her. Happy 13th birthday to my sweet angel Bryn. You have given me everything I have ever needed in this lifetime and I am so grateful.❤️#happybirthday #daughterlove #13 #loveyou.”
