Catherine Giudici shared a message of support for her husband, Sean Lowe. It came after an incident involving their family dog. The Former Bachelor Nation star was attacked, and the couple made the difficult decision to surrender their pet.

Supporting Her Husband

Catherine and Sean raise Samuel, 7, Isaiah, 6, and Mia, 5, so they were very fortunate it wasn’t one of the kids who got bitten. The dog, a boxer that they rescued in December went for Sean twice, and he ended up in the ER. Obviously, it was a heartbreaking and scary time for the couple. But, the former ABC star’s supporting Sean.

Two days ago on Instagram, Catherine posted a photo of her husband with one of their kids, who kissed him sweetly. Bite marks were visible on Sean’s arms and feet. In her caption, Giudici simply wrote, “We love this man so much,” adding a red heart emoji.

Responses To The Photo

Bachelor Nation fans couldn’t reply to the post, as the comments were locked. Possibly, Catherine Giudici got some ugly comments in the past because it’s not the first time the couple had an issue with a biting dog. However, when E! News shared about it on social media, folks were able to comment there.

One of them wrote, “So sorry to hear of this, I hope Sean is doing ok! I’m sure he’s sad and traumatized. We’ve had many fosters, rescues and had nothing but love. Saddens me this happened. Hoping for healing and a speedy recovery.”

Not everyone was kind, and some people questioned where something was wrong with the dog. Here are some other responses from the mixed bag of reactions:

  • That dog has to go. There’s not going to be a second attack. He’s lucky the dog attacked him and not the kids.
  • Didn’t the first dog Gus attack Samuel? Is this a second dog that attacked Sean?
  • Get your kids a golden retriever.
  • Sadly, it’s no one’s fault… I remember fostering a dog and it bit me in the face. We knew at that moment that the dog had to go somewhere else.
  • The dog got re homed. I love dogs and have had them my whole life. If a dog attacks like that he needs to be put down not re homed.

The Dog Was Surrendered

It’s not clear whether the dog, Moose, was re-homed. Initially, Sean explained that after the second attack within hours of each other, they called the police and surrendered Moose. Possibly, the pup is back at a rescue shelter somewhere. Sending it to stay with his parents didn’t work out.
